Refersion

A SaaS affiliate management platform with first-party tracking and a marketplace connecting affiliates to e-commerce brands.

Refersion was founded in 2014, is based in the US, and was acquired by Assembly in 2020. It is primarily a SaaS affiliate tracking and management platform that brands install to run their own programs, and it uses first-party tracking rather than relying on third-party cookies. Its Marketplace lets affiliates discover and join participating brand programs.

Brands set their own commission structures, commonly around 10% to 20% of the sale, and Refersion automates commission calculation and payouts. Affiliates can be paid through PayPal, check, direct deposit, or unified payments, with no fixed network-wide payout minimum. It suits affiliates who work directly with e-commerce brands and merchants who want their own branded program.
